Chi Darling was born and raised in Orange County, California. She eventually moved to Los Angeles to pursue her undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California and graduated as the class valedictorian from the School of Policy, Planning, and Development. She then went onto law school at the Pepperdine University School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in California and Massachusetts.
While attending school in Los Angeles, she developed a deep passion to help and serve the indigent community. Although Chi contributed to various organizations throughout the community, it was her experience as a law clerk at the Union Rescue Mission and the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office that cemented her lifelong dream to dedicate herself to helping others.
After graduating from law school, Chi was fortunate enough to pursue her passion by working as a Deputy Public Defender for the Orange County Public Defender's Office. Her seven years at the Orange County Public Defender's Office gave her the opportunity to advocate and litigate on behalf of hundreds of under-represented clients.
Chi then devoted her time to assisting individuals in need of healthcare coverage through various Medicaid programs. Although her focus was Medicaid law in California, she developed further expertise regarding Medicaid-related issues and proceedings in other jurisdictions throughout the country.
As an attorney at Case Barnett Law, Chi continues to serve and help those who are in need of a dedicated advocate.
